Welcome to the Well Being and Mindfulness Programme for Children and Young Adults.

From working with children and young adults, through to educating Coaches and Teachers on these practices and processes, I believe everyone can benefit from this programme. My Programmes are based on the programme of research on Emotion Science from the YALE Centre for Emotional Intelligence.

Wellbeing and Mindfulness are the key foundations from which we build our life. It is not currently taught in schools, but I believe they are simple tools that can be taught and can be greatly benefited from.

Childhood and adolescence are important stages in the developmental process. What happens during these phases of their lives will lay the foundation for their future mental health.

The practice of being mindful allows children and teens to cope with frustration when they are faced with something difficult in their lives. It can also be used when they need to focus their attention on something specific and not allow distractions to derail them. The more they practice being mindful, the better they get at it.

In this programme, we will focus on Emotions​

Regulating

On completion of Level 1 of the programme, you may choose to move onto the Performance Programme, which offers specific coaching on: ​

  • Greater social and leadership skills

  • Less anxiety and depression

  • Less stress and burnout

  • Better performance in school, sports, music (specific goal setting)
